My experience with Arkansas Connections Academy was amazing and very pleasing. It is a very self paced environment, but the teachers are always helpful and available whenever. The curriculum is very educational and I enjoyed graduating from such a great school.

AR Connections changed my life for the better and provided me the resources and environment that I needed in order to grow and prosper. I spent my 9th and 10th grade years struggling in the public school system due to having ADHD and social anxiety but thanks to AR Connections I was able to obtain my education in a healthier manner and even graduated a year early.

I thought online school was going to be difficult, but I liked the fact that I could call and fix the grade that I got on a test. The teachers answered me very quickly - just for calling you get extra points added to your grade. If you don't contact them for 1 month, you go into contact alarms, and they call and check up on you: to see how are you doing and if you have any questions about any of your work. You can get ahead in any of your classes by 2 weeks. The only thing I would change is the contact alarm from 1 month to 2 weeks or the survey to fill out each day on the home page.

Connections Academy is a great alternative to in-person schooling. The teachers are nice and respectful. The schedule is very flexible to fit my day to day activities. The only problem I have with the school is the occasional technical problem.

I did not personally enjoy my time spent at Arkansas Connections Academy. There were very limited extracurriculars and almost no opportunities to interact with other peers in person.

I have been able to work on my own time schedule and work at a pace that is good for me. I can get things done like appointments and not have to miss out on my school work.

The one word I can think of with describing Arkansas Connections Academy and that is AMAZING! I transferred from my local high school to ARCA in the middle of my Junior year and it was definitely the best decision I’ve ever made when it comes to my education. I gained so much from ARCA between meeting new people and learning so much more than I would have at my other school. They accepted me, they thought me so much, and they always helped whenever needed!

I have enjoyed my experience at ARCA. Arkansas Connections Academy has a flexible schedule as opposed to a traditional high school. I am also able to work at my own pace. The teachers and staff are all so helpful and truly want all students to succeed. They are available for meetings and work one on one with you when needed. During the COVID-19 pandemic we did not miss any educational time, unlike other schools. Arkansas Connections Academy offer an assortment of classes that I would not have been able to take at the local high school. As an online public school we are held to the same standards as other schools. We have multiple field trips through out the year as well as prom and an in person graduation. I do not know what I would change, since I have not had any problems.

Arkansas Connections Academy provided me with a flexible schedule, the ability to contact my teachers/counselors at any time of day, as well as the ability to easily pick and choose my courses.

So far I have really enjoyed ARCA. Its virtual so I can do things at MY pace. Everyone is very nice and helpful should I need them to help me with something. There are so many club opportunity and even things like National Honor Society. I have also had time to take college classes during the school year in addition to my high school classes. All around I have no complaints, and would recommend ARCA to anyone.

I loved this school, and I wish I would have found it sooner. Everything was great!
There were a whole lot of options for elective classes. My favorite was American Sign Language. We would send in weekly videos based on what we learned in Live Lesson (best thing ever lol- I hope they still use it!).
I struggled a lot in math in particular and these teachers and curriculum helped me so much. You could also get help from student tutors or you could contact your teachers and get one on one help in live lesson or over the phone! Definitely recommend either one!
The school was a perfect change for me from traditional public school. If I could change anything I would ask for more field trips up in NEA. I do understand though, that there might not be that many students up here! I loved it so much and 100% recommend!

I enjoy ARCA honestly. I have been going here for roughly four years now, my whole high school career, and I've never had a complaint. I liked the flexibility the school gave me, and I didn't have to sit down and learn for 6 hours straight like I would in a brick and mortar school. The teachers were always there to provide help too!

My son was struggling in the public schools and falling behind every year. When Covid hit, we switched him to AR Connections Academy and he starting excelling. He is now caught up in every subject and has straight A’s. Teachers are great and very accommodating. Getting our son on an IEP was no hassle unlike the public school who fought us on everything. Also, when talking to friends with kids in the public school, Connection’s curriculum is a year ahead! There also many clubs for the students to join and interact with other kids with the same interest.

Attending Arkansas Connections Academy has been a great experience. I am free to work at my own pace, allowing me to finish a little early or even take a bit more time to complete assignments if I need the slower pace. The teachers are always helpful and easy to talk to whenever I need extra help or have questions. Doing school completely online isn’t for everyone, but I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a virtual alternative to public school.

My experience at Connections Academy has been wonderful. This is my second year returning and I don't regret it at all. Connections Academy has great teachers that are there to help out every day, they always make sure that you understand the lessons, and they make sure to let you know that they will help anytime you reach out. One thing I like about Connections Academy is the resources provided to help you throughout the lessons and units to make sure you understand everything. If you don't do a very good job on a lesson, they will even let you retake it for a better grade. One of the downsides of Connections Academy is that the content can be challenging at times and a little hard as well. One thing I would change is to assign less lessons throughout the week to make it less stressful for students.

Arkansas Connections Academy was an awesome institution. The issue I had with it was that teachers would lose your work. And that was very frustrating because when you do the work, you want to get to the pointsand don't want to have to redo it.
